Tofu was part of our dinner. I cooked it in a bunch of olive oil, added salt and pepper, and towards the end some garlic. It was fantastic, though not nearly as good as the tofu at Nine Mile. I am still trying to get my tofu similar to theirs.

It’s just so boxy looking.
Well, I did cube it. Tofu is usually cube shaped. TVP looks more granular, or like pre-chewed gum. Both lack very much taste, except for what you flavor them with. I will make some of all of it when we are home, you can try it for yourself.
Maybe we can use Christmas cookie cutters to cut out cute tofu shapes!
Ooh, that is a good idea, but those might be big pieces of tofu. Would need small shapes.
