What in the world is going on here?
That’s what you may be wondering right now.
Well, here is what’s going on: Teresa and Wylie are moving to Texas in July of 2009!
This news might make you say "Holy Smokes! That’s great/weird/fun/scary/surprising/wonderful/strange. I never really imagined you in Texas…"
This is true, and it is definitely all of those things… This move will be an adventure for both if us… For Teresa it will be her first 40-hour-work week on internship, the beginning of homework-free evenings and weekends (hopefully), and a chance to become a rodeo clown. For Wylie it will be the first winter with no snow, an introduction to Red-State living, and a chance to eat a 72 oz. steak dinner. The best part is that this will be the start of Teresa and Wylie having adventures together all the time… every day! Hooray!
"That’s all fine and dandy," you might now say, "but I don’t know Teresa or Wylie… where can I get my darn 10 gallon hat?"
This is a great question. Sadly, we are not yet experts in that department… but keep checking back because we plan on learning lots of new things in Texas… and the 10 gallon hat is at the top of the list for investigation… in the meantime, think about this…
Do you remember that show ALF? What was up with that? Why did he like to eat cats and why did the family never lose their cat? Is Roger the alien on American Dad supposed to be a modern day ALF?

Teresa
This one here is Teresa. She’s awfully nice. Teresa likes happy hour at Sonic, sushi, losing at word games, making small talk to giants, and spending way too long in her car, singing along to songs. She would like to learn how to 0cook really good stuff someday, but she fears she lacks the attention to detail…
Teresa has spent a long time in school and would like you to tell her your troubles, it’s what she likes to do, sit and listen. Sometimes she sits and listens to Wylie. Sometimes it creeps Wylie out…

And, over here is Wylie. He’s pretty great. Wylie likes winning at word games, making pictures of all sorts, defying the laws of nature in a tiny one-man boat, and walking aimlessly through the wilderness in search of various nuts and twigs for use in his famous wilderness stew. He hopes to help Teresa with her attention to detail.
