I had these shoes for over ten years, they were good to me, and have many miles on them. They started falling apart a year or so ago. The leather was cracking, and the soles were wearing thin. I took them on one last trip, up to Lowell for the Winter holidays. They stayed up there, or wherever the trash goes.
My Dad drove us to the airport at 5am on Sunday. It was crazy out. The roads had a posted speed limit of 40 mph, and the plows were all over the place. Thankfully we made it on time. Thanks again Dad! And thanks to Hattie too, for driving along with us.
We flew home today, and yes, the airport looked like this.
We went back into Boston today, even with it being incredibly snowy. It was fantastic.
Today was a lazy day filled with laundry and lounging.
